I am meant to be writing an exhibition response to Nathan Gray’s Spectral Light and Pressure Changes show, (which was amazing! Interesting, beautiful and captivating etc. Such a talented and funny man!) but I just can’t. This week has been super stressful and I feel sick because I tried to eat a whole cake for my live art class. I only got half way. It is way harder then it looks! One day I will be able to finish it all. I’ve been baking at Las Vegan, making swings inside the sculpture building and wearing a big dress with Lei and spinning until we get dizzy. I think I will just cuddle Foxy (who we have recently renamed Custard much to the dismay of Justin) and listen to some dreamy music (because my hands hurt too much to play bass or guitar). Sorry I just felt like complaining.

Las Vegan

This morning was my first day at Las Vegan. I baked sourdough (plain and olive and rosemary), wholemeal and white buns, an assortment of calzones, cherry muffins, brownies and jaffa baci cake. It was super fun! The only downside is that I had to get up at 5am on a Saturday morning. Who needs a social life anyway?
